Second Chance (SC Distribution) gives you one Blackpool source for range balls, used golf balls and a long list of golf technology brands, and it will also buy your old balls back. The company says it supplies more than 7,000 stores across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has worked in the golf trade for over 30 years. Its Eco practice ball, which the company calls the world’s first environmentally friendly range ball, is made from 85% recycled Surlyn and thermoplastic.

Range balls for full-length and short ranges

You can order driving range balls in white or yellow. Two-piece 90 compression balls (BALL/0010 white, BALL/0058 yellow) suit full-length ranges, while one-piece 80 compression limited distance balls (BALL/0051 white, BALL/0011 yellow) are aimed at shorter ranges. On a budget, you can buy used mixed-brand 90 compression balls or used Srixon range balls.

The Eco ball comes in white (BALL/0168), yellow (BALL/0169) and a stamped version. The website publishes a test by Trafford Golf Centre in which the Eco ball carried 247 yards off a driver against 248 yards for a Srixon range ball. The company says the speckled finish makes golfers less likely to take them onto the course. Businesses can ask for six free sample balls first. See also our driving range equipment checklist.

Sell your used golf balls

You can sell used golf balls and range balls of any make and any grade from AAA down to C, including x-outs, floaters, refinished and heavily worn balls. The minimum collection is 1,000 balls with no upper limit. Collection and packaging are free anywhere on the UK mainland and you are paid by cash, bank transfer or check after an in-house count and grade check, with no fees according to the company.

Simulators, launch monitors and pro shop lines

For indoor golf and teaching bays it distributes the HomeCourse ProScreen 180, a retractable, wireless enclosure (simulator not included) that lets you hit a real ball into a ballistic-grade screen and fits a space of about 8 ft high, 14 ft wide and 8 ft deep. Among launch monitors it carries Full Swing KIT, a radar unit giving 16 club and ball data points, alongside Rapsodo, Golfzon Wave, Square Golf, SimSpace and Sportscreen Golf Studio.

For your pro shop, its golf distribution range adds Blast Golf, GolfBuddy, Exputt, Sunday Golf, Lyle & Scott and PGA Tour accessories, and several brand pages invite you to apply as a stockist.

Where stock ships from

Its logistics network covers the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with warehouses in Blackpool, Wiesbaden in Germany, Shenzhen in China and Plymouth in the US. It is listed among golf suppliers in the United Kingdom. Other golf suppliers listed here include Golf Swing Systems, InSwing Golf and Huck Nets (UK).
