Huck Nets (UK) makes golf netting at its own factory in Bridport, Dorset, so you can order ball-stop nets, range nets, cages and baffle nets cut to the exact size of your range, bay or boundary. It can also survey your site and install driving range netting, and it says it has been making netting since 1996. Its golf products fall under netting and ball-stop fencing and the wider driving range equipment category.

Golf nets sold by size or by the square meter

You can get an online price for made-to-order 20mm golf ball stop netting, listed at £5.71 per square meter. Driving range nets also come in 50m x 2m lengths in three weights: standard (1.8mm cord, 25mm mesh), mid-weight (2.3mm, 25mm) and heavy-duty (2.3mm, 20mm). The company says heavy-duty suits cages and short-distance hitting. The lighter two are for range side netting and roof netting over covered bays. All of it is knotless high-tenacity polypropylene, which it describes as UV-treated, rot-proof and lighter to rig than knotted net.

• Socketed golf cages in 1 bay (3m x 3m x 3m) and 2 bay (3m x 6m x 3m) sizes on galvanized steel frames
• Freestanding and folding 3m practice cages, plus replacement nets for existing cages
• Golf projection screens made from archery-grade indoor netting, sold per square meter
• Tiger-T practice mats and winter fairway mats

Cages and replacement nets for clubs and ranges

If you run a range or club, the fixed-frame socketed cages are designed to stay up all year. They have knotless netting on the roof, back and sides, with a baffle net added to absorb shots. Huck will also net a cage frame bought elsewhere, to your measurements. For indoor golf rooms, the projection screen netting is relevant to golf simulators and indoor golf and to enclosures, screens and projectors.

Site survey, manufacture and installation

You can add installation at checkout when buying range netting. Staff first visit your site to measure the net area and recommend a netting type and size. The net is then made at its factory and fitted by its own team. The survey is included, while installation costs extra and is priced on the survey results and the size of the net. The company says it has supplied hundreds of sports halls and clubs.

Ordering custom golf netting

You can enter your dimensions in the online netting calculator for an instant price, or ask the sales team for a cage or net in any shape. The company recommends a mesh of at least 20mm for golf practice nets. It also suggests perimeter netting where a course borders a busy road or public access.
