You can buy golf simulator packages and indoor golf equipment for your home, teaching business or commercial venue, with enclosures the company says it builds to your measurements. GolfBays is a family-run golf simulator retailer with a US base in Clearwater and, by its own story, UK roots, and it says it supplies customers worldwide, including homes and businesses across the United States.
Simulator packages, enclosures and screens you can order
A full simulator package pairs a SimBox or Lux enclosure with a SkyTrak+, Garmin R10 or R50, FlightScope Mevo Gen 2, Rapsodo MLM2Pro, Uneekor or ProTee unit.
Its own enclosures and impact screens include the SimBox enclosure in seven sizes, the GolfBays Lux hitting enclosure in four sizes and the EasySim enclosure. Screen options are the Pro+, the Reversible PRO and the LITE, plus a foam backing layer, a Pro+ screen sold separately for the SimBox and a SimBox side barrier.
Launch monitors on sale include the SkyTrak ST MAX and SkyTrak+, Garmin Approach R50, Uneekor Eye Mini and Eye Mini Lite, and the ProTee VX.
You can add the GolfBays Standard Hitting Mat at 4’11 x 4’11, acoustic wall tiles in packs of ten, foam pelmet and screen frame kits, bag display organizers and club storage racks.
Custom sizes and payment plans for your venue
If your room is awkward or you run a commercial venue, GolfBays says it builds enclosures to the exact measurements you supply, which is relevant to simulator fit-out projects at clubs and indoor venues. Custom impact screen orders are altered in house by a seamstress. You can also get hitting mats for commercial teaching facilities and interest-free payment plans.
Its enclosures use a click-together frame that needs no special tools, and the company publishes video assembly guides. A customer review on its site describes an enclosure set up in a disused snooker room at Alderley Edge Golf Club. If you are planning a venue, compare these options against the commercial golf simulator buying guide.
The people behind GolfBays
The business was founded by Rob, a PGA Professional who, according to its website, was losing lessons to bad weather. It began by renting out inflatable enclosures and selling impact screens on eBay before growing into a full simulator company. Co-owner Merv, who the company says has over 40 years of engineering experience in metal and fabrication, runs the warehouse and came up with the GolfBays name.
Other golf simulator suppliers listed here include Golf Sim Kit, Golf Swing Systems and InSwing Golf.
