Kusak Crystal sells sand-carved crystal trophies for golf tournaments, club championships and corporate events, etched with your event name, logo and winners. The family business started in Seattle in 1914 and now works from Mercer Island, Washington. Every golf trophy can be ordered as a single piece. The company says it has supplied the crystal golf trophies for the WSGA and PNGA championships for the past few decades, and that its crystal is awarded at the Boeing Classic. It is one of the trophy, prize and corporate golf suppliers and golf suppliers in the United States listed here.

Golf trophies you can order

For a championship, you can choose chalices such as the Brookshire Handled Chalice ($310 to $520), the Brookshire Tapered Chalice ($280 to $510) and the Berlin Covered Chalice ($360 to $680), or the Edinburgh Covered Chalice in four sizes from 10 to 16 inches ($300 to $800). Footed vases, the Golf Pedestal Vase and the Coronation Trophy Cup cover the next tier. For flights, side contests and hole-in-one prizes, the range includes the Optic Crystal Driver Head in 3, 4 and 5 inch sizes ($60 to $280), the Optic Crystal Golf Ball, a Sliced Golf Ball Award from $35, the Diamond Tee Golf Award and an Art Glass Putter in seven colors. Compare other makers in the trophies and engraving category.

Ordering, proofs and delivery

You get a free proof to approve before your award is carved, according to the company’s home page. Each golf product page shows a dispatch time, with the Golf Ball Pin Award marked to ship in 1 day and the chalices and vases in 6 days. The site advertises free shipping and free custom etching, with the shipping offer limited to UPS ground delivery to one contiguous US address. You can book an appointment at its Mercer Island premises to see samples, and phone orders are taken Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Pacific time.

Gifts for sponsors, volunteers and staff

For thank-you gifts, it also sells etched decanters, tumblers and stemware, corporate awards, and European art glass in deep colors that can be personalized as an award. See more tournament prizes and corporate gifts.

Family history and golf ties

Moravian glass cutter Anton C. Kusak opened the business on June 14, 1914, and the company describes itself as a third-generation, family-owned, independent American business. His grandson Chuck Kusak has worked there since age 13 and served as a director of the Western Golf Association, which runs the Evans Caddie Scholarship Program. The site lists the Pacific Northwest and Wisconsin State Golf Associations among its associations too, and says it also makes Hall of Fame and Player of the Year awards.

Other golf suppliers listed here include Firbeck Trophies & Engraving, Par Golf Supply and Golf ScoreCards, Inc.
