Golf Shop Design gives you one supplier for planning, furnishing and fitting out a golf pro shop, from the floor layout to the hangers on the rails. It is the golf arm of Barr Display, based in Orlando, Florida, which says it has more than 70 years in the retail display trade. Store planning and design is free, and its published projects run from Hawaii to New Jersey, so it fits buyers looking for store fixtures and displays anywhere in the United States.

A shop layout built around your stock

You get a plan drawn for your floor size and product mix rather than a standard template. The team plans category zoning, sightlines, impulse areas near checkout and where bottlenecks form, then matches you with in-stock or custom fixtures that suit your style and budget. Because design, fixtures and delivery come from the same company, the company says it can use in-stock and semi-custom pieces to shorten lead times and avoid costly redesigns. It works on new shops, renovations and single upgrades such as a new counter.

Custom fixtures with a known timeline

You can start from a rough sketch or just an idea. Its designers suggest finishes, materials and configurations, supply drawings, then send an itemized quote and timeline based on the fixtures and quantities you choose. Most custom projects ship in 6 to 8 weeks, while bulk orders of more than 20 fixtures can take 90 to 120 days if imported. Your specifications are kept on file, so later reorders and additions match the existing shop. Custom work shown includes millwork, wall systems, shoe racks, hat displays, club racks, cash wraps and counters.

Stock fixtures you can order online

If you only need a few pieces, the online store sells floor displays such as merchandisers, tables and shoe cabinets, slatwall panels and accessories, mannequins and torso forms, countertop displays for balls, gloves and tees, and new or used gondola shelving. Its wood hanger range lists 240 products, including custom logo hangers, and it also sells logo shopping bags. Fixture collections are sold under the names Tropic Inspirations, Avenue, Modern, Glimmer and Natural Mahogany. These sit within the wider pro shop and golf retail supply category.

Clubs it has fitted out

Its portfolio names LaGorce Country Club in Miami Beach, TPC Treviso Bay in Naples, Calabasas Country Club in California, San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler, Arizona, Old Bridge Golf Club in Matawan, New Jersey, Creekmoor GC in Missouri, Apple Creek Golf Club in Illinois and Kaneohe Klipper on Kaneohe Marine Base, Hawaii. The design pages also show Hackensack Golf Club, Glynlea Country Club and Glen Kernan Golf Club.

Other golf suppliers listed here include Brand Fusion, Foremost Golf and Summit Golf Brands.
