Range Solutions gives driving ranges, golf clubs and practice grounds one source for driving range equipment. The family business, now with a third generation working in it, says it manufactures most of what it supplies in house, so dividers and nets can be built to your sizes and colors. It is based near Wrexham in the United Kingdom and says it has completed projects worldwide.

Hitting bays and flooring made to your layout

If you are refitting hitting bays, you can order hanging netted dividers, free-standing dividers with PVC, netted or metal rear sections, and steel mesh, PVC or netted teardrop dividers, all made to order at its UK works. Your logo can go on the front triangle and a web address or phone number on the cuffs, and A3 or A4 plastic wallets can be sewn on the back to carry advertising for your club. Padded stanchion covers, handrails and drink holders finish the bay, and hanging or fixing kits cost extra if you have none in place. Its Spike Range carpet tiles are 50 cm square, come in 24 colors, are anti-static and anti-slip, and can be vacuumed or power washed. The company says its longest tile installation has lasted 20 years.

Mats, dispensers and ball handling

Its range mats include Eagle, Classic Turf, training and winter tee mats plus TrueStrike single, double, static, academy and portable mats, with rubber mat keeper bases and ball trays. Ball dispensers run from a small unit holding 5,000 balls to a Twin XX Large holding 51,000, with token, coin, CCR II magnetic card, Syntomax smartcredit or Nayax credit card payment. Under its Range Maxx name it sells Range King machinery, so you can also buy ball collectors, a commercial ball washer, elevators and hoppers from 300 to 6,000 balls, a mix the company says covers all budgets.

Outfield, course and covered practice

For the outfield and course you can buy targets and distance markers, hitting nets made in its factory and fitted with a concrete base, artificial turf and mats, an air compressor shoe cleaner, and flags, flag pins, hole cups and tee markers. RangeBay is its modular covered teaching bay, portable or permanent, with more than 20 installed according to the company, including one supplied and installed at Letchworth Golf Club.

Complete refurbishments and new ranges

You can hand over a whole project, from consultation and design through manufacture and installation. Published examples include Branston Golf & Country Club and Croft Golf Centre, which it refurbished in 2003 and again in 2016, and it reports more than ten years working with Express Golf in Bradford. Our driving range equipment checklist lists the items to price for a new or upgraded range. Other driving range suppliers listed here include Range Servant, Amtech Range, Huck Nets (UK) and EGM Golf.
