Golf ScoreCards, Inc. gives your course custom-designed scorecards, yardage books and pin sheets, plus brochures, postcards and other printed pieces, from a specialist that has printed for golf facilities since 1980. The Oregon company says it works with more than 2,000 facilities, from Hilton Head to Palm Springs and up to Chicago, and its portfolio names clubs such as Riviera Country Club, Oakland Hills Country Club, The Olympic Club and Torrey Pines Golf Course. You will find it under scorecards, yardage books and printing, within trophies, prizes and corporate golf.

Scorecard formats you can choose from

You can match a layout to your course by browsing its online portfolio, which filters samples for 9, 18, 27 and 36 holes and for public, private and resort courses. Published card sizes are 5×8 or 6×8, 4×12 or 4.5×12, and 5×12 or 6×12. Design options include a logo or photo cover, an overall course map, hole-by-hole maps, pin placement maps, combination tees, vertical scoring grids and advertising cards. Two worked examples show the range: Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, California uses a 5×8 or 6×8 public course card with a logo cover, while Wailea Golf Club in Hawaii uses a 5×12 or 6×12 resort card with a photo cover, a full course map and combination tees.

How fast you get your cards

You can have a custom design back in 2 days for a refreshed or completely new card, according to its website. Most orders ship two weeks after you approve the proofs, and priority digital printing and rush shipping are offered when you are short of time. If you need cards to cover a gap, it lists temporary cards with 24-hour delivery.

Less risk of errors on your card

Every project is checked by two people before printing, the company says, which helps you avoid wrong yardages or ratings on a full print run. To switch suppliers you email your logo, a photo if you want one, and your current scorecard. You then view proofs, add comments and approve them in the online Client Area, or handle the order by email, phone and post if you prefer. You can ask for a free mock-up and free printed samples first, and its staff will advise on paper stocks, how many cards to order and how to fit combination tees on a crowded card.

Support for PGA Sections

The company sponsors several PGA Sections and Chapters, including Pacific Northwest, Western Washington and Oregon since 2003, Northern California since 2004, Colorado since 2007, Southern California since 2009, South Florida since 2012, and Northern and Southern Texas since 2013. It says a company representative attends each sponsored event. It appears among golf suppliers in the United States. Other golf suppliers listed here include The Scorekeeper Company, Par Golf Supply and Kusak Crystal.
