Turfco names former superintendent Aaron Lawson its Eastern regional sales manager

Turfco has appointed former golf course superintendent Aaron Lawson as Eastern regional sales manager for its dealers and turf customers.

Turfco Manufacturing has appointed Aaron Lawson as its Eastern regional sales manager. Golf Course Industry reported the appointment on October 27, 2026.

In the new role Lawson is the main contact for Turfco’s dealers and for professional turf managers in the Eastern United States. He will give product demonstrations, support sales and act as an educational resource for the company’s equipment, which the announcement lists as topdressers, material handlers, spreader sprayers, turbine blowers and other turf products.

Background

Lawson has more than 25 years in the golf and turf industry. He spent 15 years as a golf course superintendent, running equipment, crews and budgets, and then 10 years selling for a golf equipment dealer before joining Turfco. Scott Kinkead, Turfco’s executive vice president, said in the announcement that Lawson’s time as a superintendent means he understands the problems customers deal with every day, and pointed to his dealer support and follow-through.

Why it matters for buyers

For superintendents and equipment managers in the East, the appointment gives Turfco a regional contact who has run a maintenance operation. Courses weighing a topdresser, material handler or blower purchase can ask their dealer about a demonstration. Turfco Manufacturing is listed in our directory, alongside other golf course machinery and greenkeeping equipment suppliers, and our guide to buying golf course machinery new, used or leased covers how to compare options.

This report is based on desk research of the published announcement. We have not spoken to Turfco or Aaron Lawson.
