Carryway gives your golf club, resort or estate one UK supplier to buy or hire Club Car golf carts, utility vehicles and compact road-legal electric vans, with service, repair and parts handled by the same team. It has been an approved Club Car dealer and hire provider since 2002, and the company says it works with more than 160 UK golf clubs, including St Andrews Links. It is also an authorized dealer for Melex and Esagono and is part of the MTS Group.
Golf carts you can buy or hire
You can take petrol or electric golf carts on hire or buy them outright. The golf range on its site covers the Club Car Tempo, Tempo Li-ion, Tempo 4 Fun, Tempo 2+2 four-seater, Onward 2 Passenger, Club Car Visage and a Cool Box Buggy for on-course refreshments. Separate new and pre-owned stock lists show what you can have without waiting for a factory order. As a golf cart dealer that also hires, it suits clubs weighing ownership against a rented fleet, a choice our guide to buying, leasing or renting a golf cart fleet sets out. Macdonald Linden Hall says it began with 14 new carts for one year, then renewed for further seasons.
Utility and road-legal vehicles for your greenkeeping team
For course maintenance and site work you can choose from Club Car Carryall 100, 300, 500, 550 and 700 models, the Carryall 1500 and 1700 four-wheel-drive vehicles and the Club Car Handyman, plus Melex 3-Series utility vehicles. Its utility vehicles come with options and attachments listed on the site. If your staff need to use public roads between holes or sites, the Club Car Urban L7e offers lead acid or lithium batteries, a top speed of 34 mph, a quoted WLTP range of 124 miles and cage, tipper, van box or flatbed rear bodies. The Melex 3-Series Cargo carries up to 620 kg on its long-wheelbase version and comes in three bed lengths.
Fleet support, events and coverage
Your carts stay in service through its aftercare offer of service and repair, Club Car parts and Esagono parts, and the company says it provides fully managed backup and support throughout the UK from two depots, one in the north of England and one in Scotland. The Westerwood Hotel and Golf Resort credits its support engineer with looking after its cart fleet. For tournaments it was Official Golf Buggy Supplier for the 2019 Solheim Cup, according to IMG Golf, and it runs turnkey event vehicle hire across the UK, so it fits clubs needing fleet leasing and rental for a season or a single event. You can apply for credit through the MTS Group. See more golf suppliers in the United Kingdom.
