Club Car gives your course a single maker for its golf carts and utility vehicles: Tempo fleet cars for rental play, Carryall Turf vehicles for your maintenance crew and a Café Express cart for food and drink sales on the course. You buy through a network the company puts at more than 400 authorized dealers and distributors worldwide, so parts and service come from a local outlet. Club Car is the Official Golf Car of the PGA of America, the PGA TOUR’s TPC Network and the European Tour, according to its website.

Tempo fleet cars for your rental fleet

You choose the powertrain to suit your charging setup, with standard flooded lead-acid batteries or Tempo Li-Ion lithium power, which the company describes as needing no maintenance. On two-seat and 2+2 Tempo Lithium cars you can add StopSmart, a patented auto park brake that stops the car by registered speed and slows it gradually if power fails. The current dash carries USB-A and USB-C ports, four cupholders, phone holders and golf ball and tee holders, with optional wireless charging pads. Club Car Connect and Visage Fleet Management let your staff monitor the fleet from anywhere on the course. Our guide to buying, leasing or renting a golf cart fleet can help you plan the purchase.

Utility and transport vehicles for your grounds and members

Your greenkeeping team can pick from five utility vehicles built for turf work, the Carryall 300, 500, 502, 550 and 700 Turf. For heavier estate and resort jobs the commercial range runs from the Carryall 100 to the 900 in 4×2 form, plus the four-wheel-drive Carryall 1500 and 1700. To move guests between clubhouse, parking and lodging, you can specify the Villager 6, Villager 8, Transporter or Tempo 2+2. Members can also buy the Onward in two, four or six-passenger versions or the street-legal CRU.

Parts, service and training for your workshop

Club Car Service Solutions handles fleet maintenance and keeps detailed service records for golf operations. The company sells genuine OEM parts and warns that non-OEM parts may void its warranty. Your mechanics can attend factory technical training on electric and gasoline vehicles, held twice a year at its Augusta manufacturing facility. Authorized golf cart dealers handle sales, test drives and servicing.

History and ownership

Club Car was founded in Houston, Texas in 1958 and moved to Augusta, Georgia in 1962 under Bill Stevens. It joined Ingersoll Rand in 1995 and has been owned by Platinum Equity since 2021. Its vehicles appear at the Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup, U.S. Kids Golf and First Tee events, and EHS Today named it one of America’s Safest Companies. It is one of the golf suppliers in the United States listed here. Other golf cart suppliers listed here include Beachside Golf Cars, Golf Car UK and G.C. Duke Equipment.
