If you run a golf course in central or southern England, Farol gives you one dealer for John Deere golf mowers, Club Car golf carts, utility vehicles, parts, servicing and turf technology. The family-owned business was founded in 1977, works from seven depots and, according to its website, employs more than 300 staff. Its golf and turf division also carries Turfco, Greentek, Allett, Smithco, Tru-Turf and Karcher.

Golf mowers, turf machines and used stock

Its golf course equipment range covers greens, tees and fairway mowers and turf machines, compact tractors, turf renovation kit, sprayers and trailers. Recent used stock has included 2021 John Deere 2750E greens and tees mowers, 7700A and 7500AE fairway mowers, a 6700A E-Cut hybrid fairway mower, an HD200 sprayer and a Trilo M3 sweeper. Most used and ex-demo machines can be financed, so used golf course machinery can be spread over hire purchase, finance lease, operating lease or contract hire, typically for 1 to 5 years.

Club Car golf carts and utility vehicles

As an official Club Car distributor, Farol supplies new and used petrol and electric golf carts and utility vehicles, from Tempo golf fleet cars and Onward personal carts to Carryall utility models. Published prices include a new 2025 Tempo Lithium at £7,995 ex VAT. You get nationwide delivery with optional on-site setup and driver familiarization, and factory-trained technicians service and repair carts on site across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and the Birmingham area. Club Car appointed Farol in 2021 as one of its UK golf cart dealers for the commercial range, and the company says it brings more than 20 years of Club Car sales and service experience.

Service, parts and Precision Turf support

Every service includes a free machine health check by a John Deere factory-trained technician, followed by a digital report and a quote for any extra work, so you see costs before approving them. John Deere SmartLine gives you a £30,000 credit line for aftermarket and precision purchases with zero setup costs and 30-day interest-free terms. The Precision Turf team supports John Deere OnLink and Operations Center for crew workboards, fleet location and spray planning and sells a low-cost METOS starter package with a soil moisture meter and virtual weather station.

Golf courses it has equipped

In September 2024 Farol supplied more than 50 new John Deere machines to The Belfry, including 225E electric greens mowers and HD200 GPS sprayers with application accuracy of +/-2.5 cm, all linked to Operations Center PRO Golf.
