If you run a pro shop or fitting business in the UK or Europe, you can source shafts, grips, putters and fitting displays from one distributor, and have clubs assembled to your specification when you have no workshop of your own. OTT Golf, the trading name of Over The Top Golf Ltd, is a golf club component distributor based in Chichester, West Sussex, serving golf professionals, retailers, club fitters and club builders, and is one of the golf suppliers based in the United Kingdom.

Shaft, grip and putter brands you can stock

The company’s website lists thirteen brands it distributes: Aldila, All-Fit Golf, BGT Stability, Fourteen, Fujikura, Graphite Design, Iomic grips, KBS, Mitsubishi Chemical, Protoconcept, SeeMore putters, Toulon Golf and USA Golf Displays. The shaft range takes in KBS, Graphite Design and BGT Stability putter shafts, with Fujikura as a newer addition, which places OTT Golf among club fitting and component suppliers. SeeMore putters carry RifleScope Technology, a gun-sight style marking on the top line meant to help consistent setup, and the SeeMore page also describes an SPI qualification from the SeeMore Putter Institute for people selling the range. For your fitting area, USA Golf Displays offers shaft, component and grip displays that mount side by side, and the company says they are designed and made in California.

Clubs assembled to your specification

Without a workshop of your own, you can have shafts supplied assembled with the correct adapter and grip, with orders built to the specification you request, covering tipping, gripping, swing weight, spine or flo work and cutting to length. As part of assembly the team can check and set loft and lie as well as swing weight.

Help building a demo matrix for your fitting business

For new and established fitting businesses, the team helps you design a demo matrix, advising which new lines are most popular as brands release them and matching the set to your target market, from elite players to higher handicappers. The company says it puts together custom demo packages at reduced cost for fitters.

Opening a trade account

Shops comparing pro shop suppliers or golf wholesalers and distributors can apply for a trade account through a form on the OTT Golf website.
