From Trackman you can buy radar and camera launch monitors, complete golf simulators and ball tracking for driving range bays, with sales offices across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. The Danish company has worked on golf ball tracking since 2003, and it says the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, LPGA Tour and LIV Golf use its technology as their official measurement system. For you, that means the numbers your members and lesson clients see indoors come from the same platform the tours use.
Launch monitors and simulator packages
You choose between two launch monitors, the portable Trackman 4 and the Trackman iO built for indoor play, and both pair radar with cameras. Simulators run Virtual Golf 3 and Trackman Performance Studio, with more than 500 courses including a Pebble Beach pack, and over 40 data parameters per shot. According to the company, units from 2016 still receive new courses and features, so your hardware keeps gaining content after you buy it. Its website quotes entry prices from USD 13,995 and complete home packages from USD 29,715.
For commercial golf simulators you work with its sales team on a design for your space. Options include a custom integrated build, a freestanding Flex Cage, a tech setup of launch monitor, computer and projector, swing cameras, black turf and a high contrast impact screen. You need at least 2.5 m (8 ft 2 in) from screen to ball, and Trackman recommends a room 15 ft wide, 10 ft high and 18 ft deep. Software and hardware licenses, a commercial iO license, power supplies and sleeves are sold in its online shop.
Range tracking and booking tools
Trackman Range gives your driving range virtual golf, practice modes and games, run on an in-bay screen, a tablet or the player’s phone. Its ball tracking software builds a 3D render of your own range and sends players activity reports. Its booking, payment and membership system covers both range bays and simulators, and the Trackman Golf app lets customers find, book and pay for sessions. Published success stories include 5iron, Gloria Golf Resort and Melbourne Golf Park.
Franchise route and support
If you plan a new indoor venue, Trackman offers a franchise program with partner brands that provide training, business planning, marketing resources and 24/7 technical support. The company says most franchises open within a few months and no prior experience is needed. Owners get round-the-clock phone support in the US, Denmark, the UK, Germany and Australia, with weekday lines in Korea and Japan. Our commercial golf simulator buying guide covers the questions to settle before you order.
Other golf suppliers listed here include Full Swing Europe, Golf Sim Kit and Golf Swing Systems.
