Greenway Robotics, based in Lancashire, sells commercial robotic mowers and robot line markers to golf courses, parks, schools and other large grassed sites. You get published UK prices on most machines, a free consultation, and the chance to watch a mower working before you commit. The company says its machines are built for large grassed areas and bring better efficiency, safer and more consistent mowing, and long-term cost savings.

Robot mowers you can buy

You can choose from two makers’ ranges. From FJD, the site lists the RCM01, FRX, FR4000, Titan and the RM21, which it calls the Rough Ranger. From PUDU, it lists the GT3, GT5 and GT7. For line work, it offers the RLM01 and RLM02 robot line markers.

• RM21 Rough Ranger: priced at £23,999 plus VAT with its dock. It is fully electric, handles slopes up to 20 degrees, uses LiDAR mapping with 360 degree obstacle detection, and returns itself to charge.
• Titan: a 730 mm deck, cutting height set from 10 to 100 mm in the FJD app, a 2 kWh LiFePO4 battery and up to 36,000 m² (9 acres) a day. The battery swap version is £23,000 plus VAT, and the page names golf courses and sports fields as its use.
• PUDU GT5: a 60 inch rotary deck, 26 to 152 mm cutting height, a 26 kWh battery giving 8 to 10 hours of work and up to 65,000 m² (about 16 acres) per charge, with positioning stated to ±2.5 cm. It is price on application and listed for early 2027.

Add-ons that turn one machine into several

If you buy the RM21, you can add tools for other course jobs at listed prices: a BP01 ball picker at £2,400 plus VAT, a dew brush at £1,500 plus VAT, a GC01 grass collector at £6,900 plus VAT and an LM01 line marker kit at £5,000 plus VAT. For a range or practice ground, the ball picker means the same robot can collect balls as well as mow. Settings and mowing schedules are managed from a phone app, and you can split a site into separate zones.

See it working before you buy

You can book a demonstration at St Michaels Airfield near Preston by arrangement, arriving by road or, with prior permission (PPR), by air. The free consultation lets you talk through which model suits your acreage and slopes. If you are weighing robots against conventional kit, our guide to buying golf course machinery covers new, used and leased options.
