Motocaddy gives you a single source for electric trolleys and push carts, plus matching golf bags, more than 30 accessories and replacement lithium batteries. The company was founded in 2004 and is based in the United Kingdom. It says its range is sold in over 40 countries through subsidiaries in the UK, the United States and Germany, more than 30 international distributors and over 3,000 retail partners, and that it has sold over 650,000 electric trolleys worldwide.

Electric trolleys and push carts you can stock or buy

The current electric line runs from the SE and S1 through the M1, ME REMOTE, M5 GPS and M7 REMOTE to the M-TECH GPS REMOTE. Across the range you can choose compact folding, QUIKFOLD, Downhill Control (the DHC models), USB device charging, remote control, built-in GPS and optional smartphone notifications. The latest M-Series uses a CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable-free battery with auto-disconnect and a pop-up charging port. Push cart options include the QB2, CUBE, P1 and Z1. Motocaddy bags use its EASILOCK connection system and a slot in the base that stops the bag twisting on the trolley, and the company says any standard golf bag will also fit. It recommends a maximum load of 20kg.

Batteries and charging

If you are replacing power packs, Motocaddy sells M-Series and S-Series 28V lithium batteries with chargers, in Standard and ULTRA versions. Its FAQ says its heaviest current battery weighs 3kg and recharges in about 3 to 5 hours after a round. Trolleys carry a 2-year warranty, and lithium batteries add a further 3-year limited warranty when you register the product. The company says it led the move to lithium as the most efficient battery option for powered trolleys.

Pre-owned stock, support and delivery

  • Graded pre-owned range: Ex-Display (Grade 1, 24-month warranty), Ex-Demo (Grade 2, 12 months) and Pre-Owned (Grade 3, 12 months), with savings of up to £600 on original retail price.
  • Most pre-owned electric trolleys come with a new lithium battery carrying a 60-month battery warranty (36 months on the SE).
  • A free Motocaddy app gives GPS mapping for more than 40,000 courses, and a cellular Performance Plan adds full-hole mapping, performance analysis and over-the-air updates.
  • Instruction manuals, technical videos, battery care guidance, a service agent locator and a UK-based live chat team open Monday to Friday.
  • Online orders ship to UK addresses only, in 2 to 3 working days on standard mainland delivery, or 7 to 10 working days when the order includes a lithium battery.

Motocaddy is also listed under golf cart batteries and charging and the wider golf carts and utility vehicles section. Other UK suppliers in these categories include PowaKaddy, Powerhouse Golf, Carryway and Golf Car UK.
