If you run a golf course in Ireland, Brodericks can supply your E-Z-GO golf carts and utility vehicles, Cushman work vehicles and commercial turf machinery, with service and spare parts available anywhere in the country. Brodericks, the trading name of Kevin Broderick Ltd, is the main distributor of E-Z-GO vehicles in Ireland, based at Bromley Business Park in Kilpedder, Co. Wicklow, and one of the golf suppliers based in Ireland.
E-Z-GO golf carts and fleet tools for your course
As an E-Z-GO golf cart dealer, Brodericks offers you three versions of the RXV fleet car. The RXV ELiTE runs on the ELiTE lithium powertrain, which the maker says uses Samsung SDI cells and needs little maintenance. The RXV EX1 is the gas model, with an 11.5 hp engine, a purpose-built dash and automotive-style pedals. The RXV Freedom completes the range. With E-Z-GO Pace, a GPS-based system, your staff can monitor the fleet, update pin placements and send messages to golfers. You can download RXV and Pace brochures from the site.
Cushman vehicles for hauling, spraying and carrying people
For course work you can choose from the Cushman range of utility vehicles. It includes the Hauler Pro with a lithium powertrain, the Hauler 800 with lithium or a 13.5 hp EFI gas engine, and the gas-powered Hauler 1200. Shuttle models carry from two up to eight people. The Truckster XD carries up to 3,500 lb in a steel bed, and the SprayTek XP is a spraying vehicle, both offered with 32.5 hp gas or 24.8 hp diesel engines and optional four-wheel drive.
Service and parts wherever your course is in Ireland
The company says its technicians are factory trained and that each one has a vehicle, so they can respond quickly to your call anywhere in the country. It runs its own workshop, backed by a spare parts department and access to the manufacturer’s technical knowledge base. If you are deciding how to fund a fleet, read our guide to buying, leasing or renting golf carts.
Turf machinery brands you can buy
Brodericks lists 15 brands in all, among them Jacobsen and Ransomes mowers, ISEKI tractors, Smithco, Redexim, Turfco, Bernhard grinders and Kress robotic mowers.
History of the business
According to its About page, Richard Broderick founded the business in Dublin in 1932, dealing in saws and cutting tools. His grandson Noel joined in 1966 and bought a hardware company that handled golf course maintenance equipment, and Ransomes later appointed the firm as a distributor. After Textron took over Ransomes in December 1998, Brodericks became Textron’s sole distributor for Ireland in 1999. Managing director Kevin Broderick is the founder’s great-grandson, and the company employs 14 staff.
Other golf cart suppliers listed here include Golf Car UK, Club Car and G.C. Duke Equipment.
