If you are planning a commercial bay for a club, office or bar, or a setup at home, you can get GOLFJOY camera-based launch monitors, complete golf simulator packages and GOLFJOY course software from one supplier. GOLFJOY USA sells them from a showroom in Irvine, California, and is listed with other golf suppliers in the United States.

A quoted simulator suite for your club or bar

For a commercial simulator, you get the Overhead Simulator Suite, quoted individually, with packages starting at $20,000. A package pairs GOLFJOY software, an overhead launch monitor and a 4K projector. The company lists club, office, bar and home settings for the suite. You can also add a smart putting platform that uses 11 actuators to tilt the green surface and recreate slope. To start, you complete an enquiry form and a team member then plans the build.

Overhead and portable launch monitors for your bays

You can choose from these launch monitors.

• Rigel 2, a ceiling-mounted unit with two high-speed cameras and infrared LEDs that reads plain white balls for left- and right-handed players. It needs a ceiling of 9.0 to 10.2 ft and a tee 43.3 in from the sensor.
• Rigel 3 Pro, a clip-on overhead unit with three cameras and up to 42 ball, club and trajectory metrics. Built-in GPS and gyroscope let one bay serve left- and right-handed golfers. It needs a separate Windows PC with a dedicated Ethernet port.
• Spica 3, a floor unit for range or indoor use, with three cameras, a touch screen, 35 data points and a battery rated for up to 7 hours.

GOLFJOY says the Spica 3 and Rigel 3 Pro also run with GSPro, E6 Connect and Creative Golf.

A self-install simulator kit with a trial and warranty

The Personal Golf Simulator gives you a full bay in one kit: a GDS Pro or Spica 3 monitor, a tool-free steel frame enclosure, a three-layer impact screen, a hitting mat and turf, a 1080P laser projector and a one-year software subscription. You get a 30-day trial and a one-year warranty. The company rates the screen front at about 30,000 shots and the mat at 40,000 swings. The kit is sold only to US addresses and, according to the product page, ships within 4 to 7 business days when in stock.

Course software and what your PC needs

The simulator software gives you course, training, live match and game modes at 4K 60fps, built on Unreal Engine 4. A new Rigel 2 includes six months of the Diamond plan, listed at 160 courses. Your PC needs 64-bit Windows 10, an Nvidia RTX 3050 or better and 16GB of RAM.
