If you are a superintendent or club buyer, you can outfit your tees, greens, bunkers and practice areas with golf course accessories and turf maintenance tools from one maker, ordered through a distributor. That maker is Par Aide, based in St. Paul and one of the United States golf suppliers listed here.
Tee, green and bunker products for your course
For your tee areas you can get Master, Deluxe and Tee Pro ball washers with spare parts and repair kits, club washers, spike brushes, Trash Mate and Trash Pro receptacles from 10 to 25 gallons, Divot Mate containers, water coolers, 5-foot tee benches and tee markers in cast aluminum, branch and banded styles. For greens you get putting cups, regulation flagsticks and flags plus Accuform greens tools, and for bunkers, rakes, handles and golf cart bunker rakes. The FAQ lists PGA Tour packages of nine 7.5-foot flagsticks in white or yellow, and a set of nine aluminum cups with cup stops.
Practice area products and recycled plastic furniture
For practice areas you can get range markers, practice green markers with optional laser engraved knobs and the Sure Putt practice green system, all worth adding to a driving range equipment checklist. The recycled plastic line gives you range ball storage boxes, range crates, scorecard caddies, bag racks, course furniture and a starter podium, some in a Rustic Walnut finish.
Course signs and markings
Course markings run from stakes and rope to marking paint. Under the FusionCast name you can get tee markers, tee signs, wayfinding, fairway and cart path yardage markers and sponsor signs, which sit in the signage and course furniture category and are priced through a quote form.
Maintenance tools for your staff
Its course maintenance tools include Miltona sod stripper combos and the 2-inch Plug Stacker, the Accuform AccuTrim irrigation head trimmer, fixed spiker and slot seeder, and a folding dew brush.
How you buy and get support
Par Aide does not sell to end users, so you buy through its distributors worldwide, located with the dealer locator on its site. You can request a catalog and reach customer support or warranty service through the site.
Care advice for your staff
The FAQ gives you care tips, such as wiping contest and proximity markers with WD-40 after an event and refitting flagstick ferrules with a two-part epoxy that cures in at least four hours. To reduce cup cutting, it suggests Cupless Jr. flagsticks or Cupless practice targets on practice greens.
How Par Aide started
Its homepage says it has supplied these tools since 1955. The company history credits Joseph S. Garske, a self-taught pattern maker who ran Progress Foundries in St. Paul. After a PGA meeting in the city he set out to build a better ball washer, and within a year he had designed it, made the tooling and obtained a patent. Two golf accessory firms turned down the design, so he set up Par Aide as a subsidiary of the foundry. Leadership later passed to Robert F. Gerding and then to Steve Garske.
Other course accessory and maintenance suppliers listed here include TH Golf, Fairway Products and SISIS.
