You get custom-built golf carts for recreational, commercial or industrial use, along with event rentals, parts and service that can come to you. Big Thunder Golf Carts is a shop in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia that names Vancouver and the Fraser Valley as its market.

You can buy golf carts from its own inventory, have a cart custom outfitted, rent carts for special events, book in-house or mobile service, and order parts and accessories. It is one of the golf cart dealers based in Canada that also offers cart rental.

Custom carts you can get on E-Z-GO and Club Car models

The home page gallery shows mostly reworked E-Z-GO RXV and TXT carts and Club Car Precedent carts, many in a 2+2 layout with a rear seat. Builds shown include lifted RXV carts with long roofs and lithium batteries, an RXV fitted with a Navitas power system, Precedent carts with Alpha body kits, TXT carts with Storm body kits in silver and teal, a carbon fiber wrapped RXV with a stereo and subwoofer, and an electric blue RXV set up as a security cart. Finishes range from candy apple red and sunburst to matte sky blue and platinum grey, and one 2017 Precedent carries a wrap made to match its owner’s motorhome. The gallery also lists an RXV with an OEM lithium battery.

Accessories and upgrades you can add to your carts

The accessories page covers the parts you can use to customize, upgrade or repair a cart:

• custom wheels and tires, and lift kits
• body and trim parts such as mirrors, enclosures and custom bodies
• rear-facing flip seats and custom seat covers
• headlights, tail lights, signal and brake lights, horns, batteries and state-of-charge meters
• long roofs, cargo boxes and hitches
• custom wraps and paint, plus spare and repair parts

Repairs and maintenance at the shop or at your location

You can have carts repaired and maintained at the shop, or use the mobile service, which travels to you. Listed services are annual servicing, written estimates and cart detailing, and the company describes its prices as competitive and reasonable.

Gas and electric carts you can rent for events

You can rent gas or electric carts in 2-seat and 4-seat versions. The rentals page names weddings, golf tournaments, festivals, trade shows and movie productions as the events it supplies. To check availability, call or use the contact page. Rates and rental terms are not published. If you organize tournaments and are weighing short-term hire against owning carts, you can compare the options in the guide to buying, leasing and renting golf cart fleets.

You can also compare other golf cart suppliers listed here, including G.C. Duke Equipment, Beachside Golf Cars and Club Car.
