About Golf Range Association

If you run a golf range or practice facility in the US, the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) gives you a trade magazine, best practice emails and videos, a supplier directory and a preferred vendors list, and its website says membership is free. The GRAA is a US membership organization for golf ranges and practice facilities, and it says more than 12,000 facilities have access to its basic benefits.

The association aims to reach every range in the country, from standalone ranges to public, municipal, resort and private club ranges. Its mission statement puts particular weight on private, high-end public and resort facilities, and on using your range and practice area to raise revenue, build careers and grow the game. For range suppliers serving these operators, see our driving range equipment listings and other suppliers in the United States.

Range suppliers and preferred vendors you can find as a member

Members can use the GRAA supplier directory, sorted into 17 categories including range balls, range equipment, range furnishings, range netting, structures, training aids, golf cars, irrigation and turf care. You also get access to a preferred vendors list. If you are comparing ball dispensers, pickers and netting, you can also look at Range Servant and Golf Range Netting, and work through our driving range equipment checklist.

Golf Range Magazine and best practices for your range

Members receive Golf Range Magazine, which the GRAA publishes as ten business issues and two consumer digital issues a year, with an archive back to 2012. Content covers teaching, practice, player development, fitting and demo, operations and engagement. Regular features include Women Leading on the Range, Five Questions, Investing in Your Range and profiles of award winners, and the fitting section carried a review of the 2026 PGA Show in Orlando. You also get Email Best Practices and Video Best Practices, and the news feed carries supplier announcements such as items from Toptracer on range engagement.

Awards and boot camps for your facility

The GRAA runs annual awards, with archives from 2012. Its 2025 categories were Growth of the Game Teaching Professionals Elite Member Status, Top 100 Growth of the Game Teaching Professionals, and Top 50 lists for private facilities, public facilities, stand alone facilities and clubfitters. It also holds regional boot camps for operators and teaching professionals. Attendee comments on its site mention past camps at Kinloch and Fiddler’s Elbow, and the association has not announced dates for future camps.

Industry partners

The association names the PGA of America as its first allied association, carries out research with the PGA, the NGF and Pellucid, and says Golf 20/20 has supported it.

Ownership and leadership

The association says GGRW Inc. bought its assets from founder Steve di Costanzo in 2011, and that GGRW has worked in the golf industry for more than 35 years. In November 2011, 12 range owners and operators met in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and were asked to stay on as an advisory board. Rick Summers is chairman and CEO, and Brian Folino is president and handles sales inquiries.
