Toptracer gives you a way to turn your range bays into game and data stations, with ball tracing, shot stats, games and virtual course play delivered on screens in each bay or on golfers’ phones. It sells to driving range owners, golf clubs and indoor venues, runs offices in Dallas, London and Stockholm, and says its technology powers 900+ ranges in more than 33 countries. The same tracing system appears on golf television broadcasts, and the PGA of America names Toptracer Range an Official Range Technology.

What you can install

Toptracer Range is the main product in its ball tracking line. Your guests get game modes such as Toptracer30, Closest to Pin, Long Drive, Points Game, Approach Challenge, Go Fish and an Angry Birds game with eight chapters, plus Virtual Golf on courses including St Andrews, Torrey Pines and Royal St. George’s. A Warm Up mode reports ball speed, launch angle and distance.

• Toptracer Go suits fixed-bay ranges. One camera covers 50 meters of tee line for $999 per month, and golfers scan a QR code to see carry, curve and ball speed on their phone with no Wi-Fi or account sign-up.
• Toptracer Indoor pairs Foresight Sports launch monitors with the Toptracer Range interface on a screen.
• Toptracer Coach lets your teaching pros set drills, track students and build lesson plans from range data.

Tools for running your range

Every Toptracer Range installation includes TRMS, a cloud portal where you assign bays whether you charge by the bucket or by time, see each bay’s status and review an activity log of bay usage. You can also set the leaderboards shown on TV monitors around your property and use them for events, leagues and global competitions. Its Toptracer IQ business intelligence platform, launched at the 2026 PGA Show, adds an integrated AI tool and links to booking and payment systems.

Support from survey to launch

Toptracer’s team handles project management from site survey through installation, then assigns you a dedicated account manager. Technical support is available 24/7, and the company offers marketing support and ongoing game development. Its own operator survey reports new customers and more frequent visits after installation. History and partners

Daniel Forsgren founded Protracer in Sweden in 2006 to trace golf shots on TV, and launched the first range prototype in 2012. Topgolf Entertainment Group bought the business in 2016 and renamed it Toptracer. Since 2021 it has been the official range technology of St Andrews Links, and the Old Course is playable only on Toptracer Range. The company says the system is now installed in more than 24,000 bays and is listed among United States suppliers.
