Golf VX puts its Quantum simulator with a moving swing plate on sale to venues and homes

Golf VX is selling its Quantum golf simulator, which uses a 15-axis moving swing plate to recreate sloping lies, to golf clubs, indoor operators and homeowners.

Golf VX has put its Quantum golf simulator on sale to commercial venues and homeowners. The headline feature is a moving swing plate that tilts under the player, so shots are hit from uphill, downhill and sidehill lies rather than a flat mat. The company announced it on October 26, 2026.

Golf VX is based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and the simulator technology is developed by Kakao VX.

What the simulator does

According to the announcement and the product page, Quantum’s plate moves on 15 axes and the company says it gives more than 1 million terrain variations, including the ball above or below the player’s feet. Separate hitting surfaces stand in for fairway, rough and bunker. The system uses floor-mounted sensors and a high-speed swing camera for ball and club data, plus AI swing analysis, 4K course graphics, an auto-tee and a touchscreen console. Software covers long game, short game and putting practice, and multiplayer rounds, leagues and tournaments.

Who it is aimed at

On the commercial side Golf VX names golf clubs, teaching facilities and indoor golf operators. Its pitch is that instructors can use the plate to teach setup on uneven ground, and operators can build leagues and practice sessions around it. Golf VX also sells two other models, T2 and FA, and franchises its own indoor golf venues. It currently lists franchise locations in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts and Duluth, Georgia, alongside the Arlington Heights flagship. Pricing wasn’t published.

Why it matters for buyers

Most commercial simulators still use a flat hitting area, so a moving plate is one of the few ways a venue can offer something different from the bay down the road. It’s worth asking any supplier how a moving plate affects bay size, installation and servicing before comparing quotes. Golf VX is now listed in our directory with other commercial golf simulator suppliers and indoor golf franchises, and our commercial golf simulator buying guide covers what to compare.

This report is based on desk research of the published announcement and Golf VX’s website. We have not tested the simulator or spoken to the company.
