If you need golf carts for your course, you can buy new or used, order wholesale from a single cart up to 14 in one delivery, rent by the day, week or month, and get service and parts from the same dealer. Fat Boys Golf Carts is a golf cart and UTV dealer in Georgia, with stores in Covington and Athens and a third location listed for Eatonton near Lake Oconee.

Carts and brands you can buy

You can browse separate new and used inventory, trailers and cart accessories, request a model that is not in stock or ask for a trade-in valuation. The showroom has manufacturer model pages for E-Z-GO, Yamaha and Cushman, and the About Us page also names Club Car among the carts the company stocks. Financing is offered subject to credit approval. A Dealer Dispatch notice shown on the homepage names the Covington and Athens stores as the top retailing E-Z-GO dealer for December 2018.

Upgrades you can add

Alongside carts and utility vehicles, the dealer lists rear seat kits, custom dashboards and steering wheels, stereo systems, wheel and tire kits, lift kits, street legal kits, custom interiors and paint.

Wholesale carts for your fleet

You can take anything from a single cart to 14 carts in one delivery, across a region the company describes as running from the Southeast to the Midwest. You pay for transport on actual mileage, and discounts on multiple carts depend on the model and how many you buy in one transaction. Reconditioned carts come to you with:

• A body-off pressure wash
• Replacement of broken plastic parts
• Electrical and mechanical checks with repairs
• Load-tested batteries with water levels topped off

Carts you can rent or lease

You can rent from the Covington and Athens stores in 4 seat and 6 seat configurations, by the day with a two day minimum, by the week or month, or on long-term lease, with pricing on request. If you are comparing these options, read the guide to buying, leasing or renting a golf cart fleet.

Service, parts and batteries for your carts

You can schedule service and send parts requests online, and the homepage states that most parts can be obtained within 24 hours, with shipping available. The company says its service department is factory trained, and it describes itself as an authorized supplier of Crown and Trojan batteries.

How the business started

According to its About Us page, the company was started by a father and daughter, Steve Smallwood and Cindal Bryan. In 2004 they began building custom-bodied golf carts, including designs called the 65 Pony and the 57 Classic, first as a hobby, then for sale once buyers asked. A move to a larger, more visible site made room for an in-house repair shop and a stock of common parts. Stores in Athens and Eatonton/Lake Oconee followed, offering the same products and services.

Fat Boys Golf Carts is among the golf cart dealers in the United States covered here, within the wider golf carts and utility vehicles section. Other golf cart suppliers listed here include Club Car, Beachside Golf Cars and G.C. Duke Equipment.
