Brent Wadsworth founded the company in 1958. It is based in Plainfield, Illinois, has a second office in Arizona, and takes on private clubs, public and daily fee courses, resorts and municipal courses across the United States. The company says it has completed more than 1,000 major golf projects.

Chairman, CEO and president Pat Karnick, a landscape architecture graduate, joined in 1990 and holds the company’s state contractor and irrigation licenses. He is a past president of the Golf Course Builders Association of America. Eric Wadsworth is the second-generation vice president.
