Reesink UK buys Price Turfcare, the UK and Ireland distributor of Ventrac compact tractors

Reesink UK, the UK distributor of Toro turf equipment, has acquired Price Turfcare, which distributes Ventrac compact tractors in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Iceland.

Reesink UK, the UK distributor of Toro turf equipment, has bought Price Turfcare, the company that distributes Ventrac compact tractors in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Reesink UK announced the deal on November 2, 2026, and says Price Turfcare will be integrated into its business, with founder Rupert Price joining as Commercial Director.

For golf courses in the UK and Ireland that already run Ventrac machines, or are thinking about one, the practical change is who sells and supports them. Ventrac sales, parts and service will now sit inside the same distributor that handles Toro mowers, aerators, sprayers and utility vehicles.

What Reesink UK bought

Price Turfcare is a young business. Reesink UK says Rupert Price set it up in 2017 after securing the distribution rights for the Ventrac all-wheel-drive compact tractor and its attachments in the UK, Ireland, Switzerland and Iceland. The deal includes the rights for Switzerland and Iceland as well as the UK and Ireland.

According to the announcement, Price Turfcare has sold Ventrac to golf courses, sports facilities, local authorities, contractors and commercial grounds maintenance teams, and its staff bring more than 150 years of combined industry experience between them.

Why Toro owners should take note

Ventrac is now part of the same group as Toro. Jeff Dimos, Managing Director of Ventrac, points out in the release that Ventrac joined The Toro Company in 2020. Reesink UK already distributes Toro in the UK, so this puts the UK and Irish distribution of both brands under one roof.

Reesink UK says it will use its existing infrastructure, service organization and market presence to grow the Ventrac business. Its Managing Director, Alastair Rowell, describes Price Turfcare as an excellent strategic fit and talks about strengthening the company’s presence across the UK, Ireland and beyond. The parent company, Royal Reesink, published the same news on its own site, with its CEO Rogier van der Linde describing the group as aiming to be a consolidator in a consolidating market.

What a Ventrac does on a golf course

The Ventrac platform is built around one power unit that takes more than 30 different attachments. Reesink UK lists mowing, aerating, turf renovation, debris management and snow removal as jobs it covers, all from a single machine, and says it is popular with teams working on demanding sites and challenging terrain.

On a golf course, Ventrac’s own golf page points its MR770 reel mower at bunker edges, fairways and water’s edges, and its range also includes contour and wide area mowers, blowers, edgers and aerators. You can read what the range includes on our Ventrac listing.

What it means if you buy or run Ventrac in the UK and Ireland

If you already own a Ventrac, the announcement doesn’t mention any change to warranties, dealers or parts supply, so it’s worth checking with your usual contact who handles your servicing from now on. If you’re comparing compact tractors for slopes, you’ll now be dealing with the same distributor for Ventrac and for Toro fairway, greens and utility equipment, which may help if you want one supplier for the whole fleet.

Rupert Price says in the announcement that joining Reesink UK and Royal Reesink will help the business strengthen its service capabilities and give customers more support. Reesink UK also points to ongoing demand for attachments, parts and service over a machine’s life as a reason for the deal.

You’ll find Reesink UK on our Reesink Turfcare listing, along with other golf course machinery suppliers, golf course mower suppliers and used golf course machinery dealers. Our guide on how to buy golf course machinery, new, used or leased covers the buying side. Reesink UK is also exhibiting with Toro at BTME 2027 in Harrogate in January, as we reported last week.

This report is based on desk research of the published announcements. We have not spoken to Reesink, Price Turfcare or Ventrac.
