If you manage a golf course or sports turf, own a golf club or make buying decisions in the industry, BTME 2027 gives you free entry to more than 100 exhibitors showing new sports turf products and services, many with special show offers, plus more than 250 hours of education in the same week. The show is the annual turf management exhibition organized by BIGGA, the British and International Golf Greenkeepers Association, at the Harrogate Convention Centre in North Yorkshire, with the trade show on Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 January 2027.

Products, suppliers and show offers you can compare

The show website lists more than 100 exhibitors for 2027 presenting new sports turf products and services, and says many of them run special show offers during the three days. On its visitor pages the organizer describes the Harrogate event as drawing over 200 exhibitors and 5,000 delegates from around the world, including more than 150 companies from the UK and Europe. Stands fill four exhibition halls, and an exhibitor directory and floor plan are published on the show website ahead of the event. You can shortlist golf course equipment and maintenance suppliers and golf course construction and design firms in advance, including UK turf machinery companies such as Reesink Turfcare, SISIS and Redexim UK.

Free entry and re-entry on all three show days

Entry to the exhibition is free for all visitors, but registration is required. There is no booking deadline and you can register on site on any show day, though BIGGA recommends registering in advance to avoid queues. You receive an e-ticket by email with a unique barcode, and the pass allows unlimited re-entry, so you can leave for lunch in town and return. The exhibition is open at these times:

  • Tuesday 26 January 2027, 9am to 5pm
  • Wednesday 27 January 2027, 9am to 5pm
  • Thursday 28 January 2027, 9am to 1pm

Education you can book for sports turf and golf club staff

BIGGA’s Continue to Learn program runs at the same venue from Sunday 24 to Thursday 28 January. According to the show website, it offers more than 250 hours of education for sports turf professionals and people working in the golf club industry, split into a conference, classes and seminars. The 2027 schedule also names a New Greenkeepers Conference and The R&A Clubhouse at Continue to Learn. Sessions run from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Sunday 24 January and from 9am to 5pm on Monday 25 January, then continue alongside the exhibition. Education is booked separately, through Eventbrite or a downloadable booking form. BIGGA says discounts are available and that Turf Rewards from ICL and Syngenta can be put toward the cost.

Breakfast, evening and award events during Harrogate Week

The published schedule opens with a BTME Breakfast Session at 8am on Tuesday in The Queen’s Suite. That evening the BIGGA Celebration runs from 5.30pm to 6.45pm, following a drinks reception; the organizer says it is free, needs no invitation, has no dress code and includes prizes and awards. BIGGA Elevates follows on Wednesday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. You can also vote in the BTME Stand Award, and the program lists The BIGGA Awards and a set of feature areas, with details announced on the show website closer to the event.

Food, WiFi and hotels near the venue

Catering is available in all four halls, the venue is cashless for food and drink, outside food is not allowed except for special dietary needs, and free guest WiFi is provided. BIGGA notes that most of Harrogate’s 2,000 or more hotel beds are within a short walk of the venue.

Other turf shows to plan around

BTME sits alongside other turf events with listings here, including SALTEX in the United Kingdom and the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show in the United States, and our guide to golf trade shows in 2026 and 2027 sets out the wider calendar.
