If you run, maintain or buy for a golf course, this week lets you see turf equipment, irrigation systems and autonomous technology from more than 500 exhibitors in one place and earn education points. The GCSAA Conference and Trade Show 2027 is the yearly education and buying week run by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, held from January 16 to 21 in New Orleans, with the conference itself on January 18 to 21 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
It is aimed at superintendents and their assistants, equipment managers and crew, golf facility staff, students, and distributors and suppliers.
Equipment and products you can compare on the trade show floor
The show website lists more than 500 exhibitors across 178,600 square feet in Halls B to F. GCSAA says exhibitors show new turf equipment, irrigation systems and autonomous technology, so you can compare golf course equipment and maintenance products or start planning work with golf course construction and design firms. The floor is open on Wednesday, January 20 from 8:30am to 4:30pm, starting with a grand opening that morning, and on Thursday, January 21 from 8am to 1pm. On the floor you will find:
- A New Product Showcase of this year’s exhibitor launches
- Short presentations on the GCSAA Stage and the Industry Stage on both days
- An Equipment Managers Lounge and an International Resource Center with translators
- A Wellness Pavilion offering free health screenings
- Flyaway Geese, back for its 25th year with a live border collie demonstration of moving geese off a fairway
If you are comparing mowers and turf machinery, read how to buy golf course machinery, new, used or leased, and look at equipment suppliers such as Baroness UK, Redexim UK and Reesink Turfcare.
Who you can meet there
GCSAA reports more than 6,000 qualified buyers from over 70 countries, and in 2025 it counted 1,187 international attendees from 72 countries. In 2024, representatives of 3,106 golf facilities met exhibitors.
What you can learn in the education sessions
According to the organizer, more than 90 seminars cover agronomy, water management, labor and budgets, and equipment managers and crew can choose from 13 tracks. Sessions announced for 2027 include a robotics roundtable on autonomous technology, pump station care, mowing technology and quality of cut, and using AI in course management. The Opening Session is on Monday, January 18 at 3:15pm and the Closing Session on Thursday, January 21 at 1:15pm, with a Welcome Reception on Monday evening.
Which pass gets you what, and what it costs
Registration is paid, and you save by booking before advance rates end on December 11. At advance member rates:
- Trade Show only, $530, covers the floor, the opening and closing sessions and both receptions
- Full Pack, $695, adds Power Hours and 1.5 education points

Golf championships for GCSAA members before the conference
The GCSAA Golf Championships presented by Toro run from January 16 to 18 on four Mississippi Gulf Coast courses based around Biloxi: Fallen Oak, Grand Bear, The Preserve and Windance. Entry is open to all GCSAA members, with formats from a 36 hole National Championship to a one day Scramble, and entries close on December 17, 2026.
The venue and other shows to plan around
The Morial Convention Center has more than 1 million square feet of exhibit space, and official hotel blocks sit within walking distance in the Arts and Warehouse District. Owners planning a wider trip can also look at the Golf Business Conference from the NGCOA, the Canadian Golf Course Management Conference and Trade Show and BTME in Harrogate, all listed in our guide to golf trade shows in 2026 and 2027.
