If you manage turf at a Canadian golf course, this three-day conference gives you education sessions, continuing education credits the association is applying for, and a one-day trade floor to meet suppliers in person. The Canadian Golf Course Management Conference is the national conference of the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association (CGSA), and the 2027 edition runs February 23 to 25, 2027 at the Halifax Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
It is aimed at golf course superintendents, assistant superintendents and turf managers across Canada, along with the suppliers who exhibit to them. The CGSA is a professional society the association says has about 1,000 members working in golf course management, and it organizes the 2027 conference in partnership with the AGSA.
Suppliers you can meet at the Halifax trade show
The Canadian Golf Course Management Trade Show is open on Wednesday, February 24, 2027, from 10am to 3pm in Ballrooms B2 and B3 of the Halifax Convention Centre. Check the floor plan and exhibitors by booth list on the CGSA trade show page beforehand to find suppliers of golf course equipment and maintenance or course construction and design. Continuing education credits you may be able to earn
Education sessions run alongside the trade show, with speaker details added to the CGSA website as they are confirmed. According to the association, it will apply for continuing education credits for the 2027 conference from Plant Health Atlantic, Nova Scotia Environment, Newfoundland and Labrador Environment, the Alberta and British Columbia pesticide recertification programs, the Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario IPM programs, GCSAA Education Points and the CGSA accreditation programs. The approval sheet showing which credits have been granted had not yet been published.
How to register, book social events and join the auction
- You register for the conference through the CGSA event registration page, and the full program is on the conference website hosted on PheedLoop.
- Tickets for conference social events are ordered separately using a social event order form.
- The CGSA runs an online auction during each conference, with donated items already listed for 2027. The association says proceeds go to scholarships and advocacy. The 2026 auction ran from February 24 at 9am to February 26 at 1pm, Mountain Standard Time.
Exhibiting and sponsoring at the 2027 show
Suppliers can apply for industry presentation slots, coffee sponsorship and other sponsorship packages listed in the 2027 exhibitor prospectus. Exhibitor move-in runs on February 22 from noon to 6pm and February 23 from 8am to 4pm, and companies bringing large equipment book a move-in appointment in advance. Move-out starts as soon as the show closes.

- 2025, Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario, with the Ontario Golf Superintendents Association. The trade show was held in the Grand Hall on February 26 from 10am to 2:30pm.
- 2024, Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal from February 27 to 29, with the Quebec Golf Superintendents Association. The trade show on February 28 in the St. Laurent Room sold out its floor plan.
