If you own, run or buy for a golf facility, GBC27 gives you a few days of education, peer networking and supplier meetings, and your registration includes a Core badge for the PGA Show 2027. Golf Business Conference 2027, known as GBC27, is organized and hosted by the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), with the main program running January 25 to 27, 2027 in Orlando, Florida.
The NGCOA describes itself as the only national trade association dedicated to U.S. golf facility ownership and operations, and calls GBC27 the largest annual gathering of golf facility owners and operators. It lists the audience as owners, operators and managers, management company executives, municipal course operators, resort executives, course buyers, golf shop managers and buyers, successors to family golf businesses and PGA Professionals who want to become owners. The Rosen Centre Hotel is the host hotel, and a pre-conference session runs on Sunday, January 24.
Education you can take back to your course
On Tuesday, January 26 you pick a Forum, a Workshop or an Exchange in each of four education blocks. Published topics include revenue management, AI for course websites and for golf operations, protecting intellectual property, capital and growth, future focused food and beverage strategy, tech-powered ranges and revenue, and the value of autonomous and robotic fleets. That last topic helps when comparing suppliers such as Greenway Robotics or browsing golf carts and utility vehicles. A keynote on golf’s environmental, economic and social impact follows lunch. Wednesday’s sessions move to the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).
The conference says you can earn continuing education credits from groups including the PGA of America, LPGA, CMAA and GCSAA.
Networking events on the program
- Masterminds 2027 pre-conference session, Sunday 4pm to 6pm, free with pre-registration
- GBC27 Expedition and NGCOA award presentations on Monday, followed by the Toptracer Opening Reception
- NGCOA annual business meeting, Municipal Operators Roundtable and a Next Gen Meet-Up for course successors
- Closing luncheon with the Award of Merit presentation on Wednesday
What your pass covers and how to save on it
The Full Conference Pass gets you the Sunday Masterminds session, Monday’s opening reception, and breakfasts, education, meals, networking breaks and the Sponsor Fair on Tuesday and Wednesday. If your company sends four or more people, each attendee gets $100 off. Non-members who join the NGCOA attend at no registration cost, and members who renewed a Yamaha Golf Cars contract in 2026 qualify for a complimentary pass.
Your PGA Show Core badge comes through the NGCOA alliance with Reed Exhibitions and the PGA of America, with the show held at the OCCC. The show website lists the exhibition hall open Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 6pm and Friday from 8:30am. The NGCOA hosts Booth 2979 and a Vendor Village on the floor.
Meeting buyers at the Sponsor Fair
Suppliers can only attend as sponsors. The sponsorship page lists Presenting Sponsor at $22,500 with four representatives, Participating Sponsor at $15,000 with two, and Networking Sponsor at $6,000 with one, the last marked sold out. Every package gives you a 10 by 10 foot exhibit area at the Sponsor Fair and Happy Hour, held Tuesday 4pm to 6:15pm, plus access to the attendee list. Product areas on show range from clubhouse and operations software to golf course equipment and maintenance.
Golf outing and travel discounts
The optional Yamaha Golf Outing costs $275 and runs Monday, January 25 from 7:15am to 3:30pm at the Watson Course of Reunion Resort and Golf Club in Kissimmee, with an 18-hole round, meals, transport from the Rosen Centre Hotel and a prize giving. Hotel booking details arrive with your registration confirmation. Southwest Airlines offers attendee discounts for travel between January 22 and 30, 2027, and Ship Sticks offers 20% off golf club shipping.
For a winter trip, compare other events in the golf trade shows guide, including the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show and BTME.
