GCSAA gives you and your maintenance team education, certification, information and representation, and runs a winter trade show where you can meet more than 500 exhibitors in one place. The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America is the professional association for the people who manage golf courses, with headquarters in Lawrence, Kansas.

According to its website, it has served superintendents since 1926 and now has 20,000 members in more than 78 countries. Companies selling to its members appear under golf course equipment and maintenance suppliers and among suppliers in the United States.

Meet more than 500 exhibitors at the 2027 Conference and Trade Show

At the annual GCSAA Conference and Trade Show you can walk more than 500 exhibitors across Halls B to F of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The 2027 edition runs January 18 to 21, and the show website lists these trade show hours:

  • Wednesday, January 20, 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Thursday, January 21, 8am to 1pm

Registration is paid. A Trade Show pass gives you two days on the floor plus the opening and closing sessions and receptions. Members pay $530 at the advance rate (until December 11), $580 standard and $700 onsite, and non-members pay $100 more. Full Pack and All Access passes add education, and All Access includes unlimited seminars and 3.0 education points. Your spouse or significant other and dependent children visit the trade show free. Three days of golf presented by Toro come before the conference.

The American Society of Golf Course Architects, the Golf Course Builders Association of America and the USGA are presenting partners, with the National Golf Course Owners Association and the National Golf Foundation as participating partners. The golf trade shows guide sets it beside other winter events such as BTME and the NGCOA Golf Business Conference.

Research on water and resource use at US courses

Its Golf Course Environmental Profile, launched in 2006, surveys US courses on water, nutrient, pest, land and energy use. A fourth phase began in February 2025 with a water use survey.

Centennial and international partners

GCSAA is celebrating 100 years with a Centennial Exhibit virtual tour and a chapter-driven 100 Acts of Service initiative. It takes part in International Thank a Golf Course Superintendent Day, held September 8 in 2026, alongside BIGGA, the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association, the Australian Sports Turf Managers Association and FEGGA. GCSAA says these groups together represent more than 31,000 golf course management professionals in 78 countries.
