Origin Amenity Solutions (OAS) gives UK golf courses one account for fertilizer and grass seed, plant protection, line marking and Rain Bird irrigation. Stock is held at a head office in Royston, Hertfordshire, a distribution depot at Witham St Hughs near Lincoln and a trade center at Newbridge in Scotland. You also get advice from a team of more than 80 amenity advisers who, the company says, all hold BASIS and FACTS qualifications. The business was formed in 2021 from the Rigby Taylor, Headland Amenity, Symbio and Turfkeeper brands and is part of Origin Enterprises PLC.

Rain Bird irrigation and training for your greenkeepers

If your course runs Rain Bird, OAS describes itself as the exclusive UK distributor for Rain Bird Golf and says it stocks more than 10,000 Rain Bird product lines, from rotors and sprinklers to valves and controllers. It advises on new installations, upgrades and renovations, and offers system maintenance and training. It also supplies CirrusPRO, Rain Bird’s central control system, which you run from a phone or tablet with course maps, dashboards, live weather data and alerts. In autumn 2025 its irrigation team ran training days at Luffenham Heath Golf Club in Stamford and Ashby Decoy Golf Club in Scunthorpe for course managers, greenkeepers and irrigation technicians. Sessions covered hydraulics, making existing systems water more evenly and treating dry patch without major capital spending, with BIGGA CPD points available.

Fertilizer, seed and turf products you can order

The online shop lists granular fertilizer in 20kg and 25kg bags, including Apex organic blends with humic acid, C-Complex, Con-Vert, Delta Sport and the Xtend slow release and controlled release grades, alongside NutriLink and MicroLite. Seed includes the Top Green R range, and the catalog also covers plant protection products, biostimulants, surfactants, biologicals and sprayer nozzles. You can also use its TurfKeeper and MachineKeeper digital platforms. For marking out, it sells Duraline paints and Tiny Mobile Robots GPS line marking robots.

Delivery, research and where to meet the team

On the UK mainland, OAS aims to deliver within five working days, and bulky goods such as bulk topdressing may ship direct from the manufacturer. For addresses outside the mainland you ask its sales team for a carriage quote. In August 2021 it opened a turf science research center in Dunmow, Essex, a £1 million investment it uses to trial products as summers get warmer and winters milder. You can see the range at BTME, where it took stands 230 and 200 in 2026 and its staff led sessions on irrigation repairs and fertilizer planning, and at SALTEX. Its products fall under golf course equipment and maintenance and maintenance tools and supplies. Other golf suppliers in the United Kingdom listed here include Reesink Turfcare, SISIS and Redexim UK.
