If you run a golf course in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas or parts of Louisiana, you can buy mowers, utility vehicles and irrigation from one distributor, which also services them and supplies parts. That distributor is Professional Turf Products (PTP), based in Euless, Texas.

According to its website, PTP is the exclusive provider of Toro, Club Car, Ventrac, Salsco and Otterbine, among other brands, in that territory, a regional source of golf course equipment and maintenance for clubs in the United States. Besides golf courses, PTP sells to independent dealers, schools, municipalities, parks, and landscape and irrigation contractors.

Toro mowers you can order for greens, fairways and rough

The mowers and turf equipment range is built around Toro. For greens, the company lists the walk-behind Greensmaster 1018, 1021 and 1026, the battery-powered e1021, e1026 and eFlex 1021, and the riding Greensmaster 3150-Q, 3250-D and eTriFlex 3360, with TransPro 80 and 200 trailers for moving walk-behind units. For fairways, models run from the Reelmaster 3100-D, 3550, 3555-D and 3575-D to the 5410-D, 5510-D, 5610-D, 5010-H and 7000, alongside a GeoLink autonomous fairway mower. For rough, it lists Groundsmaster rotary mowers from the 1200 and 3200 up to the 4000-D, 4100-D, 4300, 4500, 4700, 5900 and 5910.

Specialist machines include the Toro eHoverPro 450 hover mower, Bullseye NuSurface 470 and 790 fraise mowers, the ProStripe 560 stripe mower with a 22 inch cutting width, and Ventrac 4520 compact tractors in K, N, P, Y and Z versions. It also lists aerators, sprayers and topdressers.

Utility vehicles and people movers for your course

For utility vehicles, PTP’s vehicle pages list the Toro Workman HD and HDX in 2WD and 4WD form, including diesel HDX-D versions, plus Toro Vista 4, 6 and 8 people movers in Lithium and EFI versions. Club Car is also among its brands, so you can compare PTP with other golf cart and utility vehicle suppliers.

Repairs, grinding and parts for your machines

PTP’s stated policy is to ship genuine Toro parts the same day if you order before 2:00 p.m. PTP says its factory-trained technicians work at its own facility and out in the field, handling warranty support, general maintenance and repair in season and off-season. Its grinding shop does spin and relief grinding plus cutting unit repair and rebuilds, and it publishes bedknife, blade, nozzle and reel charts as parts references.

Irrigation parts and pump stations for your course

You can source Toro rotors, central control, valves, swing joints and valve boxes, Watertronics pump stations with Watervision 2.0 and PLC retrofits, and Otterbine fountains, with allied lines from CMF Global, Westlake, Leemco, Paige, RegencyWire, Armada and Harco. Service covers electronic golf course irrigation and pumping systems, and the company says you get a 24-hour turnaround on controller repair and troubleshooting of Toro systems, Campbell Scientific weather stations and Strike Guard lightning detection. You can also take up its surge protection and grounding programs and pump station preventive maintenance.
