If you run a driving range, a simulator studio or a golf entertainment venue, SYNLawn Golf supplies the hitting turf and putting surfaces that take the heaviest daily traffic: Tee Strike tee line turf and hitting mats, SYNRange Pro for busy ranges, and nylon putting greens such as Precision Putt that it says roll like a natural green. The same turf is used in the TGL simulator arena, and commercial jobs are designed and installed by local SYNLawn distributors.

Turf for driving ranges and tee lines

SYNLawn Golf makes tee line turf and hitting mats for ranges and practice centers, built to stand up to constant use without grabbing the club head. When Cantigny Golf Club in Illinois added 10 Trackman bays to one of the largest practice centers in the Chicago area, its PGA professionals tested Tee Strike mats and chose them for the new bays. At Carl’s Golfland in Plymouth, Michigan, the local distributor installed SYNRange Pro across a busy Trackman-powered range, a surface chosen to carry heavy traffic and range equipment while cutting maintenance cost. Tucker’s Point Golf Club in Bermuda combined Tee Strike with SYNTipede turf so golfers can pick their hitting surface. If you are planning range mats and tee lines, these projects show how the products hold up at scale, and the driving range equipment checklist covers what else a range needs.

Simulators and golf entertainment

For indoor bays, SYNLawn sells nylon simulator turf that it has tested with the main launch monitor brands, and it works alongside Full Swing, Foresight, TrackMan and PuttView on entertainment venues. Its Precision Putt surface works with PuttView-style systems, whose electronics and hydraulics create breaks and undulation under the turf. Projects include several simulator bays and practice greens at Full Swing Golf’s head office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and a private club in Tennessee with 10 Trackman bays and a Precision Putt green on GreenMaker panels. You can compare other simulator mat and turf suppliers and launch monitor makers such as Trackman.

Putting greens and putting courses

SYNLawn’s putting greens are made from nylon fiber, which the company says gives truer roll and closer approach-shot acceptance than polypropylene greens that rely on sand. Precision Putt is the tour-level surface and Classic Putt is a tougher option for larger jobs such as putting courses. Commercial examples include a resort-style putting course with bunkers and lighting for the Del Webb Fulshear community in Texas and a nine-hole putting course built with a golf course designer for an office building in Atlanta. SYNLawn also says it is the only artificial grass company carrying an ASTM Class A fire rating, which matters for indoor practice rooms. How projects are delivered

SYNLawn works through a network of local distributors across the United States and Canada, with more in Mexico, the Caribbean, Guatemala, Argentina and India. Its GreensMaster certification trains installers in base preparation, seaming, contours and cup placement, so ask for a GreensMaster-certified distributor for a golf build. The company says more than 350,000 SYNLawn projects have been installed since 2003, and it offers architects and specifiers a design and specification library.
