If you buy for a golf course, driving range, indoor golf venue or pro shop, Demo Day lets you hit and compare golf equipment, golf carts and technology on the range the day before the indoor exhibits open. PGA Show Demo Day is the outdoor opening day of the PGA Show, held at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida, outside Orlando.

The next edition is on Tuesday, January 26, 2027, from 9am to 5pm, and goes ahead rain or shine. The PGA Show is the trade-only golf industry event run as a partnership between Reed Exhibitions (RX) and the PGA of America. The show website describes Demo Day as the largest professional outdoor demo day in the world and the official start of PGA Show Week, which moves indoors to the Orange County Convention Center from January 27 to 29.

Equipment and golf carts you can test before you buy

According to the organizers, you can test golf equipment and technology hands-on in hitting bays, on several practice greens and in short game areas. A Test Track is set aside for trying golf carts and other vehicles, and tour professionals give live demonstrations through the day. Newer and lesser-known brands are grouped in the Discovery Zone Vendor Village.

If you buy driving range equipment, golf simulators and indoor golf technology or pro shop stock, you can hit and compare products side by side in one day. The show website’s exhibitor directory, filtered to Demo Day, shows whether makers such as Trackman, Full Swing Europe or Golf Sim Kit are bringing equipment to the range.

Ideas and training for range operators and coaches

If you run a range, GRAA presents a Golf Range Best Practices area with entertainment activations aimed at range operators and appearances by GRAA award winners, a natural fit if you are working through a driving range equipment checklist. Coaches and instructors lead performance workshops, and at the Teaching and Coaching Center, PGA of America coaches and fitting experts show practical applications at dedicated hitting stations.

A Health and Wellness Center presented by GFAA focuses on overall golfer well-being, and PGA Show Education sessions run at the course from 9:30am to 2:15pm on Demo Day. A central food court, live music and a Bar Convent Brooklyn terrace at Tee Box 5 on the range round out the site.

Who can attend and what it costs

You do not need a separate Demo Day ticket. Every 2027 PGA Show registration tier includes it, listed in the Core package alongside the Fashion Show and Winter Jam. Published prices, plus tax, include:

• PGA of America Golf Professionals, LPGA and international PGA professionals: Core free, Advance $295, Premier $695, with up to five guests
• Industry professionals and racquet sports professionals: Core $49, Advance $365, Premier $845
• Non-exhibiting suppliers and manufacturers: Core $1,950, Advance $2,385, Premier $2,945

Advance, Premier and industry Core prices rise on November 9, so registering before then costs you less. The show is trade-only, and Demo Day opens in two stages. From 9am entry is limited to PGA of America Golf Professionals with their staff and guests, LPGA Professionals, VIP Buyer Club Members and VIP Media. General access for all registered attendees starts at noon. The organizers list course owners, facility buyers, general managers, directors of golf, pro shop owners and managers, coaches and tournament directors among the people who attend.

More to see during PGA Show Week

After Demo Day, the exhibit hall in the West Concourse of the Orange County Convention Center is open from 8:30am to 6pm on January 27 and 28 and from 8:30am to 2pm on January 29, with more than 1,000 brands exhibiting according to the show. Functional Fabric Fair Winter Edition, a sourcing event for performance fabrics and trims, is co-located with the show, and Winter Jam provides an evening of live music. Connections Housing is the only approved hotel booking vendor for the week.
