History in golf irrigation since 1965

Joe Keeling founded the business with his wife Helen in 1965 to sell to farms. He had earlier sold engine and pump sets to farmers during the 1953 to 1955 Arkansas drought, then bought that diesel engine dealer’s North Little Rock store. The first premises was a converted tomato shed near what is now Little Rock Airport, and the current headquarters was bought in 1968. In 1967 Joe Keeling and Ed Shoemaker supplied one of the first 18-hole golf course irrigation systems, at Belvedere Country Club in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
