Club Prophet

You get tee sheets, golf point of sale, card processing, customer records and inventory management in course management software for daily fee, municipal, semi-private, private, resort and multi-course operators, plus golf simulator businesses. The supplier is Club Prophet LLC, a golf course management software company in Cheswick, Pennsylvania, and one of the golf suppliers in the United States working in clubhouse and operations.

Tools you get on either platform

Both platforms give you five core modules:

• golf point of sale and payments linked directly to your tee sheet, with a central database for several locations
• StarterHut tee sheets, with booking rules by membership profile and a view across multiple courses
• customer management showing you each member’s history and spending
• ProphetPay card processing, described as PCI compliant, with reconciliation reports and platform fees meant to offset costs, provided by Fullsteam Operations LLC in the US and FS Payments Canada Ltd. in Canada
• inventory management

Add-ons you can choose

You can add online reservations, member billing for dues and assessments payable by card or ACH, food and beverage ordering on iPads for table-side and beverage cart service, mobile solutions, a web store, insurance solutions, reputation management and a marketing hub covering websites, social media, email and text campaigns. The software connects with outside accounting, reservation, dynamic pricing and event registration tools, and you can file an integration request for others.

Choosing Cloud or Signature for your course

You can pick from two versions of its course management and tee time software. Signature is the on-premise system, which Club Prophet presents as its flagship for high-volume and multi-course sites with several dining outlets, member billing, tournaments and retail shops. Cloud is a cloud-based platform that adds built-in tournament and event setup and a branded mobile app for your members and guests. Club Prophet says Cloud pricing depends on course size and the features you choose, and it quotes after a consultation.

What simulator venues and resorts get

For a simulator venue, the simulator version manages bay reservations at one or several locations, lets your customers book online and extend their bay time with a card deposit, and handles bay-side food orders on iPads. To plan an indoor site, compare hardware in the commercial golf simulator buying guide. For your resort, Club Prophet is sold as part of the Fullsteam Hospitality group, linking golf with property management, dining, events and yield management that moves tee time prices with demand and room occupancy.
